How is training delivered within apprenticeship programmes?

Apprenticeships are work-based qualifications supported by a learning tutor. Your tutor provides face-to-face or virtual sessions, observes your progress, and helps you build an apprenticeship portfolio.

Teaching sessions occur every four to eight weeks for consistent support. Near the end of the apprenticeship, a meeting with your tutor and manager will assess your readiness for the End-point Assessment (EPA). The EPA tests the knowledge, skills, and behaviours you've gained. You'll have opportunities to practice EPA components and will only take the final assessment when you're prepared. The EPA content varies by apprenticeship course.
